Port facility cleaning for the offices inside the fence

Scale houses, dispatch and admin offices, driver lounges and crew restrooms at Minnesota River grain terminals like Port Cargill in Savage — cleaned around barge loading and truck traffic by background-checked crews who work escorted or through the terminal's access process.

What we already know about your sector

The problems only you have.

A generic janitorial checklist misses exactly what makes your space hard. These are the things we bring to the walkthrough already understood, before you have to explain them.

◆

A river terminal runs on the shipping season, not an office clock: barges load while the river is open, the elevator can keep taking in grain for storage through the winter shutdown, and cleaning has to be planned around scale hours instead of pretending everyone went home.

◆

The scale house and the dispatch counter absorb every truck that crosses the scale — boots off the yard, coffee, weight tickets, load after load — and the restroom drivers use while they wait is the single loudest complaint you get.

◆

Your office sits beside a working grain elevator and barge dock: grain dust, diesel film and yard mud ride in on every boot and truck, so entry matting, glass and floor care are a different problem than they are in an office tower downtown.

◆

Every vendor, vehicle and crew member checks in at the gate — sign-in, escorts, a hazard briefing, and TWIC where federal maritime security rules apply — and a crew that arrives without the paperwork in order does not just wait at the gate, it burns your morning.

◆

Before any of that, the terminal operator's contractor requirements and your own lease want a current COI and named, background-checked people in the file — insurance paperwork is the first gate, not the last.

What is different in Minneapolis & Hennepin County.

Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport is not part of any city; it sits among Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Eagan, Mendota Heights and Richfield, with two terminals, Delta Air Lines' second-largest hub and a base for Sun Country Airlines. Its operator, the Metropolitan Airports Commission, also runs six general-aviation relievers. Flying Cloud, 10 miles south of Minneapolis, is the busiest of them, with more than 100,000 takeoffs and landings a year, and home base for corporate jets and flight schools; Crystal and Anoka County–Blaine are in the system too. On the water, the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District, which brings together 14 cities and two counties, licenses the marinas that rent public slips, the charter boats and the rental watercraft on a lake with summer and winter safety rules.

What’s included

The scope we actually quote.

This is the starting point for the written scope of work. We tune it with you on the walkthrough — lines get added, removed, and given a frequency before you approve a price.

Admin building offices, conference rooms and reception: surfaces, floors, trash and recyclingScale-house windows, dispatch counters and driver check-in wiped and disinfected on the truck cadence, not a fixed clockDriver lounges and crew break rooms: seating, tables, microwave and vending exteriors, floors and trashRestrooms serviced multiple times a day and restocked — the highest-complaint area at any terminal with trucks waiting to cross the scaleLocker rooms and shower areas where the facility has them, sanitized between shiftsEntry vestibules, matting, door glass and stair rails — where grain dust, diesel film and yard mud land firstTerminal management and grain-office areas, plus any trucking or logistics tenant suites, cleaned around their own shift patternsAdministrative and common areas only: the elevator, bins, galleries and barge dock stay with the terminal and its grain-dust housekeeping program, with crews escorted or badged per the terminal's process

How a commercial contract works →

Proof, not promises

You know what got done, without walking the floor.

Hiring cleaning for port facilities is the easy part. The problem shows up in month six, when the vendor starts skipping things and nobody finds out until someone notices. Most contracts run on trust and a signature on a logsheet.

We answer it with evidence. On eligible completed visits we send a CleanCheck report: that visit’s task-list status, customer-safe photos, and the team’s notes. It lands in your inbox and stays in the history, so the next time someone asks, you have the answer.

✓

The list, not a promise

The report shows the status of the tasks you approved in your scope of work — the same ones, visit after visit.

◉

Customer-safe photos

Images of the work, not of people or paperwork: you can forward the report to a board or a tenant without editing anything.

↺

A clear way to fix it

If something misses the standard, you point at that visit’s photo and we make it right — nobody has to rely on memory.

How commercial works

Walkthrough to report.

01

Walkthrough at no cost

Message us on WhatsApp, call, or text. We walk the space with you — square footage, layout, restrooms, floors, access rules, and the hours that work for your team.

02

Written quote in one business day

You get a scope of work and a price in writing — the task list, the frequency of each task, and what it costs. Nothing starts until you approve it, and the price you approve is the price you pay.

03

Recurring service with photo reports

We hold the schedule set in your walkthrough. After eligible completed visits you get a CleanCheck report: that visit’s checklist status, customer-safe photos, and the team’s notes.

04

Billed after each visit

You are invoiced after each completed visit, not for a prepaid term. That is why there is no long-term lock-in here — we earn the contract every visit.

We do not publish a price table for port facilities: the number comes out of the walkthrough and arrives in writing, usually within one business day. That same scope of work is the starting point for a janitorial contract.

Common questions

What gets asked before signing.

?

Do you clean the elevator, the bins or the barge dock?

No. This is administrative and common-area work: scale houses, admin offices, dispatch counters, driver lounges, break rooms, locker rooms and restrooms. The elevator, bins, galleries, conveyors and barge dock are not in scope — grain dust there is a fire and explosion hazard that federal OSHA rules put under the facility's own written housekeeping program, alongside engulfment and fall hazards that belong to your operation, not a janitorial vendor. The boundary is written into the scope at the walkthrough.

?

How do your crews get through the gate and onto a secured terminal?

Through your process, not around it. Gate sign-in, escorts, hazard briefings and — where a facility falls under federal maritime security rules — TWIC are the terminal's access rules and yours to administer: we supply a stable, named, background-checked crew list so the same people clear the gate every time, and we work escorted wherever the site requires it. A COI reaches you, your landlord or the terminal operator within 2 business hours of the request — $2M insured, no payment at booking.

?

Can you clean around barge loading and truck traffic, and how is it quoted?

Yes — you pick the quiet window instead of an empty building. The usual pattern is a main service pass in the lowest-traffic window with restroom and driver-lounge touch-ups when trucks are lined up at the scale, and the walkthrough sets it: square footage, headcount across shifts, restroom count, scale hours and the shipping-season calendar decide the price. It comes in writing, eligible completed visits carry CleanCheck photo proof, and our line is answered every day, 24 hours.
