Your A/C is doing the real prevention work
In most of the country, “ventilate more” is good mold advice. In Miami it inverts for half the year: from roughly June through November, the outdoor air is often more humid than the air you are trying to dry. Opening windows in August adds moisture; it doesn’t remove it. - Fix drips early. A toilet supply line or trap that sweats or seeps keeps a vanity cabinet damp around the clock.
