42 items, top to bottom.
A deep clean covers everything a residential clean does (kitchen, baths, dust, vacuum, mop) plus the items that build up between cleans β and the things most cleaning services skip. On eligible completed visits, your CleanCheck Report includes checklist status and customer-safe photos.
The difference is in how the work is done, not only in what gets touched. A maintenance visit wipes; a deep clean takes things apart. Baseboards are hand-wiped rather than dusted, cabinet faces are degreased instead of spot-cleaned, grout gets spot-treatment rather than a pass with the mop, and movable furniture is pulled out so the floor underneath is actually reached. The team works top to bottom β cobwebs and fixtures first, floors last β so nothing that falls during the visit lands on finished work.
There are limits too, and we would rather state them than have you find them at the door. Appliance interiors, cabinet interiors, and window glass are quoted separately because each is a different job with its own time cost. Glass already etched by mineral scale, damaged grout, and mold growing inside a wall sit outside any cleaning scope. We wrote the exclusions out in full in what a deep cleaning does not include.
Whatβs the difference between a deep clean and a standard clean?
A standard clean is the 28-item maintenance routine: kitchen, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, mopping. A deep clean is the 42-item reset, and it adds hand-wiped baseboards, detailed doors and frames, ceiling fan blades, blinds, light switches, grout spot-treatment, cobweb removal, and the floor under movable furniture β work a standard visit either skips or charges for as an add-on.

The practical rule: if nobody has cleaned to this depth in more than six months, start with a deep clean and hold it with residential visits after. If the house is already current, a standard clean is enough and costs less. Two longer guides walk through the decision β deep cleaning vs. regular cleaning and five checks you can run in your own house β and neither of them restates this table; it lives here and they explain it.
How much does a deep cleaning cost in Miami?
A deep clean in Miami is priced by bedroom and bathroom count rather than square footage, because bathrooms and the kitchen carry most of the hours. The ladder below runs from a one-bedroom, one-bath home to a three-bedroom, three-bath and shows how long each size takes. We call you about your quote and confirm the exact figure with you before you book.
| Home size | Duration |
|---|---|
| 1 BR Β· 1 bath | 3 hr |
| 2 BR Β· 1 bath | 3β4 hr |
| 2 BR Β· 2 bath | 4β5 hr |
| 3 BR Β· 2 bath | 5β6 hr |
| 3 BR Β· 3 bath | 6β8 hr |
Final price comes with your quote. Add-ons (inside fridge, balcony, laundry, etc.) are priced separately.
It is worth saying where that ladder comes from. A bathroom is the slowest surface in a house per square foot: tile, grout, glass, fixtures, and a toilet packed into the smallest room in the place. An extra bedroom adds floor, baseboards, and a closet; an extra bathroom adds close to an hour, and the duration column shows it β 3 to 4 hours at 2 bedrooms with 1 bath, 4 to 5 once the second bath is there. For the same reason a three-bedroom home with three baths costs more than the same house with two, even though the square footage never changed. If you want the full math β ranges by city, why national aggregators quote higher figures, and what moves the total in Miami β it is in the how much a deep cleaning costs guide.
What costs extra on a deep clean?
Three things stay separately priced on every deep clean: appliance interiors, cabinet interiors, and window glass. Everything else on the checklist is in the base price. Heavy restoration work β layered hard-water scale, months of pet hair, grease past the point a normal degrease reaches β is quoted as its own line and confirmed with you before the visit.
| Add-on | What it covers | How it is counted |
|---|---|---|
| Inside oven | Standard interior buildup; heavy restoration is confirmed first. | Per oven |
| Inside empty refrigerator | Emptied refrigerator interior, shelves and drawers included. | Per refrigerator |
| Refrigerator with food inside | Deep cleaning only β food is removed and replaced. | Per refrigerator |
| Inside cabinets + drawers | Emptied cabinet interiors; the cabinets have to be cleared first. | Per job, with a minimum |
| Interior window glass + frames | Per reachable interior pane; sliding tracks are their own line. | Per reachable pane |
| Heavy grease or buildup | Kitchens past the point a normal degrease reaches; scope confirmed. | Quoted from photos |
| Heavy pet-hair removal | Conservative heavy-buildup estimate; final scope confirmed from photos. | Quoted from photos |
| Wall washing | Per room, washable painted walls; spot cleaning is confirmed lower. | Per room |
| Laundry wash, dry + fold | Per on-site load; working machines required. | Per on-site load |
| Hard-water stain removal | Heavy mineral restoration on shower glass and fixtures; confirmed first. | Per affected fixture |
| Sliding-door track cleaning | Vacuum and detail each sliding-door track. | Per sliding door |
| Inside dishwasher | Interior wipe-down, filter area, and door edges. | Per dishwasher |
| Stairs + handrails | Detailed cleaning of one staircase flight and its handrail. | Per staircase flight |
| Patio or balcony | One small outdoor area; water access may be required. | Per outdoor area |
| Garage | Sweep, dust, and tidy one accessible garage bay. | Per garage bay |
| Organization | Sorting and arranging belongings is its own job, not part of cleaning. | Separate quote after scope review |
The extras the table marks βQuoted from photosβ and the restoration work require confirmation: we quote them from photos and tell you the total before the work starts, never after. Each one goes into the same quote as the rest of the visit, so the number you approve already includes them. And if what you actually need is organizing rather than cleaning, that is quoted separately because it is a different job.
A deep clean makes sense whenβ¦
First-time customers
It's been a while since the last professional clean. We reset the home so future biweekly visits stay efficient.
Seasonal reset
Spring + fall β Miami pollen, hurricane dust, holiday entertaining. Reset everything before guests arrive.
Big events ahead
Birthdays, anniversaries, photo shoots, in-laws visiting. A deep clean reads on camera; a standard clean doesn't.
After illness in the house
Flu, COVID, a stomach bug that went through everyone. Switches, handles, frames, and rails get the detailed pass, with fragrance-free products if someone is still recovering.
Humid season
A guest bath or a closed-up condo grows a mildew film on grout, sills, and shower glass. We lift that surface film; growth inside a wall is a different trade.
Handing a space back
If the property is empty and you need cabinet interiors and a photo archive, that is a move-out clean. If it just came off a build, that is post-construction.
The reason Miami needs this more often than almost any other market is the air. Humidity runs high most of the year, the air conditioning runs almost continuously, and a lot of homes blur indoors and outdoors with sliders that open every day. That combination leaves three things behind: a fine film on glass and light fixtures, permanent damp in bathroom joints, and dust that travels through the ducts and settles on vents, fan blades, and baseboards. None of it comes off in a quick pass; all of it is on the 42-item checklist.
Mold is where being precise matters most. What shows up in shower grout, in a window seal, or along the edge of a glass door is usually surface film, and that does come off with spot-treatment and the right product. What grows behind tile, or in a ceiling that keeps getting wet, is a moisture problem rather than a cleaning one, and no visit fixes it. We explain the difference β and when to call a specialist instead of a cleaning company β in whether a cleaning service can handle mold and in why your house smells musty even when it is clean.
What moves the price up or down.
Three things drive the price of a deep clean: the size of your home, its condition, and how often it gets professional attention. Bedrooms and bathrooms set the baseline β bathrooms and the kitchen are the heaviest part of any deep clean, so a home with three baths takes meaningfully longer than one with a single bath, even at the same square footage.
Condition matters just as much. Grease on cabinet faces, soap scum in grout, and dust inside vents build up over months β the longer it's been since the last professional deep clean, the more hours the 42-item checklist takes. Extras like inside-appliance work on a heavily used oven, or post-renovation dust, add scope too.
Frequency works in your favor: homes that pair a seasonal deep clean with regular residential visits stay easier to reset, so follow-up deep cleans go faster. We call you about your quote and confirm it with you before anything is scheduled β no surprises at the door.
What you control completely is rhythm. A deep clean is a one-time visit with its own quote; what makes the next one cheaper is what happens in between. The HomeCare plan, for customers planning at least 3 cleanings, saves 15% on weekly service and 10% every two weeks; every four weeks uses the standard rate. A home on that rhythm reaches its seasonal deep clean far more current β and that visit finishes in fewer hours. It is also worth knowing why a first visit costs more than the ones that follow it.
How long does a deep clean take?
A typical visit runs 4 to 6 hours with a two-person team. The duration-by-size table breaks that down: about 3 hours in a one-bedroom apartment, 4 to 5 in a two-bedroom two-bath house, and 6 to 8 in a three-bed three-bath. Size sets the baseline and condition moves the rest; a kitchen that has gone a year without a deep clean takes longer than one reset every season.
You do not need to clean before we arrive, but ten minutes of pickup does buy time: the less there is on counters, floors, and nightstands, the more surface actually receives the detailed work you are paying for. If you want cabinet or refrigerator interiors, empty them first β we cannot clean inside a full cabinet. And if furniture is going to be moved, tell us which pieces stay put. The how to prepare for a deep clean guide has the full list, and nothing else is required of you.
Booking is a request rather than an automatic confirmation: you choose the service and a time, and we confirm the visit and the price with you before anything is charged. Start with the quote form, or call, text, or WhatsApp us instead β we answer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in English and Spanish, and a deep clean can be settled over chat just as easily as through the form. Nothing is charged at booking: we bill after each completed visit.
Deep cleaning that knows your neighborhood.
Miami homes don't all get dirty the same way. Salt air and open balconies in Miami Beach and Key Biscayne condos leave a film on glass, railings, and fixtures that a quick wipe never fully lifts. Established family homes in Westchester and South Miami collect years of dust in blinds, vents, and baseboards. Bigger lots and backyard pools in Palmetto Bay track sand and leaves through every entryway, and the hard-working kitchens of Hialeah put cabinets and stoves to the test daily. The 42-item checklist is the same everywhere we go β what changes is where the hours get spent.
The building decides when it can happen, too. A deep clean occupies most of a day, and in the towers of Brickell, Aventura, or Sunny Isles Beach that means reserving the service elevator ahead, registering the vendor at the front desk, and having the certificate of insurance on file in the association's name before the day of the visit. In Kendall, Pinecrest, and Cutler Bay the work starts at the front door and the challenge is different: larger homes, more hard flooring, and more outdoors coming in through every slider. We settle all of it at booking rather than on the morning.

What's the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?+
A regular residential clean maintains a home that's already in good shape β kitchen, bathrooms, surface dusting, vacuuming, and mopping. A deep clean adds detailed work such as baseboards, cabinet faces, reachable light fixtures, blinds, sills, switches, door frames, cobweb removal, and reachable areas under furniture. Appliance interiors, cabinet interiors, and window cleaning remain separately priced unless your confirmed scope explicitly includes them.
How much does a deep cleaning cost in Miami?+
A deep clean is priced by bedroom and bathroom count rather than square footage, because bathrooms and the kitchen carry most of the hours: a 1-bedroom, 1-bath home is the low end of the size ladder on this page and a 3-bedroom, 3-bath is the high end, with three rungs in between. We call you about your quote and confirm the exact figure with you before you commit to anything, and there is no payment at booking.
How long does a deep clean take?+
Plan for the better part of a day. A studio or one-bedroom apartment usually takes a morning or an afternoon; a larger family home can take a full day. Size sets the baseline, but condition matters more β a kitchen that hasn't had a professional deep clean in a year takes longer than one that gets reset every season.
What costs extra on a deep clean?+
Appliance interiors, cabinet interiors, and window glass are the three that stay separately priced on every deep clean: the oven and an emptied refrigerator are each counted per appliance, a refrigerator with food inside is its own line, cabinet interiors are quoted per job with a minimum, and interior windows are counted per reachable pane. Tell us which ones you want when you ask for your quote, and we confirm what each adds before you book. Heavy restoration work is its own line and is confirmed with you before the visit rather than added on the day.
Do I need to be home during the deep clean?+
No. Most customers leave a door code, a key, or a smart-lock invite and go about their day. On eligible completed visits you receive a CleanCheck report afterward with checklist status and customer-safe photos, so you can see exactly what was done without being there.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?+
Yes β we arrive with everything: vacuums, mops, and eco-friendly products by default, with fragrance-free options on request. If you prefer a specific product on a delicate surface like natural stone or unsealed wood, leave it out with a note and we'll use yours.
How often should I book a deep clean in Miami?+
Most Miami homes benefit from a deep clean two to three times a year. Humidity, salt air, and year-round pollen mean buildup happens faster here than in drier climates. A common rhythm: a deep clean each spring and fall, with regular residential cleans in between to hold the result.
Can a deep clean get rid of mold or mildew in my bathroom?+
It removes the surface film β the dark shadow on grout lines, the haze on shower glass, the mildew on a window sill that has been damp all season. What it cannot do is treat growth behind tile, inside drywall, or in a ceiling that keeps getting wet, because that is a moisture problem a cleaning visit does not reach. If we open a bathroom and find that, we tell you rather than paint over it.
Can you deep clean after someone in the house has been sick?+
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people book one. The high-touch surfaces already on the 42-item checklist β switches, handles, door frames, rails β get the detailed pass rather than a quick wipe, and we bring fragrance-free products on request if anyone is still recovering. Tell us in the booking notes so the team plans the order of rooms around it.
Can you deep clean a home with pets?+
Yes β homes with pets are a big part of what we do, and they're where a deep clean shows the most: hair under furniture, dander on baseboards and vents, nose prints on glass doors. Everyday pet upkeep is included in the visit; months of heavy buildup is the separate pet-hair line, quoted from photos before the visit. Tell us about your pets when you book, and secure anyone who gets nervous around vacuums.
