What Shoreline brings
Between 1950 and 1957 this was the fastest-growing part of the Seattle metropolitan area, a 64 percent jump that laid down the ranch and split-level stock still filling most of Shoreline's fourteen neighborhoods, with older view property in Richmond Beach, Innis Arden and the gated Highlands along the Puget Sound bluff. Nearly all of it predates residential air conditioning, so nine damp months settle into bath grout and north-facing sills, moss and algae take shaded north-slope roofs, siding and walkways under mature firs, and rain-tracked grit with cedar and alder pollen shows up on entry floors and on glass that low winter sun makes unforgiving.
Commerce concentrates along the Aurora Avenue (State Route 99) corridor and around the two Link light rail stations, Shoreline South/148th and Shoreline North/185th, with Shoreline Community College's 80-acre campus and CRISTA Ministries — King's Schools, CRISTA Senior Living, World Concern and its radio stations — among the largest employers.
Office, building or storefront? Commercial cleaning covers those, with a free walkthrough and a price in writing.
