What Forney brings
Forney grew out of a Texas and Pacific Railway farm town on fertile blackland prairie that once shipped cotton, corn, grain and onions, and almost none of its housing predates the boom: 5,588 residents in 2000 became 14,661 in 2010 and 23,455 in 2020, filling 8,579 units across 15.8 square miles.
