What Yarrow Point brings
Three sides of Lake Washington shoreline define this 0.37-square-mile peninsula between Cozy Cove and Yarrow Bay, where about one in four of the roughly 405 homes has a waterfront location or water access and nearly the whole town lies north of SR 520. Water on every side and heavy tree cover mean the damp season never fully lifts: mildew on bath surfaces and north-facing sills, moss and algae filming shaded siding and walkways, grit carried in from docks and beach ends, and thin winter light that picks out every streak on lake-facing glass.
Storefronts simply do not exist inside the town limits, where the town's own count runs to about 405 houses plus the town hall at 4030 95th Avenue NE, Morningside Park and the Points Loop Trail, so every errand means leaving town: east to Kirkland, south through Clyde Hill to Bellevue, or west over the floating bridge to Seattle.
