What Dellwood brings
Platted in 1882 as a summer colony of large architect-designed cottages on the northeast shore of White Bear Lake, Dellwood was organized as a village in 1917 and still holds only about 1,171 residents across 2.81 square miles, 2.66 of them land, where winterized cottages and later lakeside houses meet shoreline damp, heavy leaf fall and five months of salt and snowmelt worked into old woodwork.
