The card on file isn’t a tech flourish — it’s how a professional operation keeps its calendar honest. Our published terms put the whole flow in one sentence: “We price before you commit: you request a quote, see it, and then request a time.” A booking becomes a confirmed slot once the payment method on file is verified — no money moves at that point; the verification exists to filter out no-show bookings, not to charge anyone. After the visit is completed, the invoice goes out for the quoted amount plus any additions you approved, with a secure hosted payment link by email, and the paid invoice is your receipt.
That order — price, then work, then payment — is the customer-protecting version of card billing.
