What we already know about your sector

The problems only you have.

A generic janitorial checklist misses exactly what makes your space hard. These are the things we bring to the walkthrough already understood, before you have to explain them.

Your readers expect silence: a vacuum through the reading room at 2 p.m. costs you patrons, so most machine work has to happen before doors open or after close.

Book dust settles fast, but sprays and wet products have no business near the stacks — shelving needs dry-method routes that never put moisture next to a spine.

The children's area is the highest-touch square footage in the building — board books, low tables and play surfaces need real sanitizing between story times, not a once-over.

Public restrooms, entrances and computer stations take heavier all-day traffic than most offices ever see — on a civic budget, with insurance paperwork attached to every vendor.

What’s included

The scope we actually quote.

This is the starting point for the written scope of work. We tune it with you on the walkthrough — lines get added, removed, and given a frequency before you approve a price.

Entrance, lobby and circulation desk: floors, glass, mats and counter touchpointsDust-safe stack and shelving routes: dry microfiber on shelf exteriors, end panels and ledges — no sprays or liquids near the collectionChildren's-area sanitizing: low tables, seating, rails and play surfaces with EPA-registered productsReading rooms and study carrels: tables, chairs, sills and floors, worked in silencePublic restrooms sanitized and restocked on every visit — the hardest-worked restrooms in any civic buildingMeeting and community rooms reset between programs, story times and rentalsQuiet daytime porter service: restroom checks, spill response and entrance touch-ups that never interrupt readersStaff workroom, offices and break areas: surfaces, sinks, trash and recycling

How a commercial contract works →

Proof, not promises

You know what got done, without walking the floor.

Hiring cleaning for public libraries is the easy part. The problem shows up in month six, when the vendor starts skipping things and nobody finds out until someone notices. Most contracts run on trust and a signature on a logsheet.

We answer it with evidence. On eligible completed visits we send a CleanCheck report: that visit’s task-list status, customer-safe photos, and the team’s notes. It lands in your inbox and stays in the history, so the next time someone asks, you have the answer.

The list, not a promise

The report shows the status of the tasks you approved in your scope of work — the same ones, visit after visit.

Customer-safe photos

Images of the work, not of people or paperwork: you can forward the report to a board or a tenant without editing anything.

A clear way to fix it

If something misses the standard, you point at that visit’s photo and we make it right — nobody has to rely on memory.

How commercial works

Walkthrough to report.

01

Free walkthrough

Message us on WhatsApp, call, or text. We walk the space with you — square footage, layout, restrooms, floors, access rules, and the hours that work for your team.

02

Written quote in one business day

You get a scope of work and a price in writing — the task list, the frequency of each task, and what it costs. Nothing starts until you approve it, and the price you approve is the price you pay.

03

Recurring service with photo reports

We hold the schedule set in your walkthrough. After eligible completed visits you get a CleanCheck report: that visit’s checklist status, customer-safe photos, and the team’s notes.

04

Billed after each visit

You are invoiced after each completed visit, not for a prepaid term. That is why there is no long-term lock-in here — we earn the contract every visit.

We do not publish a price table for public libraries: the number comes out of the walkthrough and arrives in writing, usually within one business day. That same scope of work is the starting point for a janitorial contract.

Common questions

What gets asked before signing.

?

Do you clean the books, archives or special collections?

No — and that boundary is deliberate. We dry-dust shelving exteriors, end panels and ledges along agreed stack routes, and we keep sprays and liquids away from the collection entirely. The materials themselves — books, media, archives, and anything in special collections — stay under your librarians' preservation protocols.

?

Can you clean while the library is open to the public?

Yes, within limits we set together at the walkthrough. Daytime porter service covers the quiet work — restroom rounds, spill response, entrance and children's-area touch-ups. Vacuums and floor machines run before opening or after close, so the reading room stays a reading room.

?

How is a public library quoted?

By a short walkthrough — square footage, stack layout, children's area, restroom count, meeting rooms and the porter cadence you want set the price. You get the quote in writing, a COI within 2 business hours for your facilities or procurement office, and no payment at booking.
