What Memorial Villages brings
Incorporated one at a time in 1954 and 1955 — Bunker Hill, Hunters Creek and Hedwig in 1954, then Piney Point, Spring Valley and Hilshire in 1955 — the six villages together held 18,750 residents at the 2020 census across about eight square miles, with Buffalo Bayou cutting through both Piney Point and Hunters Creek. Mid-century houses and their far larger replacements sit on deep, shaded lots, so pollen, bayou-side humidity and gumbo clay tracked up long driveways are the standing load.
Commercial frontage concentrates in Hedwig Village — the only one of the six to accept the existing commercial sector, along the old Katy Road corridor that is now Interstate 10, the Katy Freeway — while Piney Point has restrictions against all forms of business and Hunters Creek is almost entirely residential, and the mall-and-hospital mass of Memorial City Mall and the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center sits just outside in Houston at I-10 and Gessner Road.
Office, building or storefront? Commercial cleaning covers those, with a free walkthrough and a price in writing.
