Twenty-three acres of brewery — founded in 1883, brewing until 2001, bought by Silver Ventures in 2002 — became this residential and hospitality quarter on the San Antonio River just north of downtown, where restored 1894 limestone brew-house masonry now stands beside new lofts and apartments.
