What Austin brings
Austin's housing spans more than a century: Hyde Park, platted in 1891 as the city's first suburb and built out mostly between 1924 and 1935 with bungalows as its common house type; Travis Heights lots from 1912 and Tarrytown streets opened in 1934; limestone customs on the hillsides of West Lake Hills, Rollingwood, Barton Creek and Lakeway; and subdivisions in Leander, Georgetown, Round Rock and Pflugerville that were pasture a decade ago.
